Most modern browsers disable / block websites from auto-playing sound and music. This is a great feature due to all the annoying ads with sound in them. However, for certain websites, such as artistic websites meant to immerse you, it can hinder the expereince.
Below are instructions to enable/disable auto-play for certain websites, based on populer browsers—taken directly from the parent company’s support and help documenton. (Links are supplied.)

1) On your computer, open Chrome.
2) Go to a site.
3) To the left of the web address, select View site information Default (Secure).
4) Select Site settings.
5) Change a permission setting.

Your changes save automatically.
After you select the icon next to the web address, previously saved site settings open. You can change them without going to the “Site settings” menu in Chrome.
If the Reset permissions button is available, you can select the button to reset your changed preferences.
To protect your data, Chrome removes permissions from sites you haven't used recently."

1) In your Microsoft Edge browser, open the Settings and more menu by selecting the three dots in the top right.
Choose Settings.
2) In the menu on the left, choose Cookies and site permissions, then scroll down on the right and select Media autoplay.
3) On the right, there’s a drop-down arrow that gives you the options to Allow, Limit, or Block autoplay.
4) Choose the option that works best for you.

1) Go to the Safari app on your Mac.
2) Choose Safari > Settings, then click Websites.
3) On the left, click the setting you want to customize—for example, Camera.
4) Do any of the following:
Choose settings for a website in the list: Select the website, then choose the option you want for it.

1) When Firefox is actively blocking media on a website, you'll see a special icon in the address bar. Click that icon to open the Site Information drop-down panel, where you can change the Autoplay setting for that website.
