My site isn’t necessarily for everyone, so instead of offering just a “move forward, or close the browser”stance, I decided to offer other poetry and artistic sites to leap over to. These aren’t necessairly endorsed by me, but just options for those looking for lighter / brighter / safer works. I hope you find joy within them.
(NOTE: There are a lot of great poetry sites available out there, but many are plastered with non-stop ads. I don’t mind them using some form of advertising to keep their site funded, but if they throw conistant, annoying ads from every direction, I simply refuse to link to them. The sites below either don’t have ads, or are very light in their advertising.)
All Poetry — a nice poetry site for writers to share their works and to engage in groups with similar interests.
The Poetry Archive — a non-profit orgnaization focusing on reserving the voices of their poets (literally). They keep voice recordings of their user poems.
Open Poet (Organization) — an archvie built on public domain poetry to ensure "that the world's heritage of verse remains freely accessible to all”.
Artists for Conservation — an organiziation that aims to inform about conservation and environment education through art which celebrates nature
Thomas Kinkaid Studios - Works from and in the style of Thomas Kinkaid (the “Painter of Light”). His works featured beautiful an surreal paintings of cottages and various landscapes,
