There she walked down the cobblestone path, swaying elegantly and gently as a breeze
Her raven black hair reaching down her back, dancing in the wind like a sultry tease
Her black clothes melting into the night and with soft velvet allure
A little skirt and torn silk stockings, enticingly reveal her paleness so pure
Her exquisite frame, wrapped tightly to show every gentle curve
Sides showing through cobweb lacing, all eyes stop to observe
Judgments of course they bestow, for she looks awkward and thus must be vile
All surface justifications however, by none who know her—keeping her on trial
Her corset, sewn and wrapped like silk around that which is revered
The smile cracking underneath her painted face, her natural beauty appeared
I would be honored to be seen by her side, as everyone stares
Their world is so fragile, filled with their inner lies—I just don't care
Gracefully, she walks through the door she opens for the elderly
Letting others through, though they judge—she treats them tenderly
Her painted eyes, so distinct—like a visual portrait of a raven’s caw
So sweet and soft her soothing voice, leaving me in awe
Such a mesmerizing contrast: garb black as night, against radiant blue eyes
My gaze held to her tantalizingly pale complexion, then I wake to realize
She is just a dream however, of a beauty that represents so much more
The longing for a soulmate to journey with, I would cherish and lovingly adore
But it's ok, maybe someday will come…
My heart is open still, for that special someone…
