Lying in shreds, my body mutilated
All the wounds, opened to be violated
The shadows and winds, penetrate every orifice
Such sights to show, so horrorous
Demonic growls feast on me as I lay
I'm so tired, I don't even care to pray
Protection is a cruel lie
As I am devoured—I die
I dream of a sweet one, so tender and true
But it was just a dream, because it wasn't you
They tear my limbs and gouge into my gut
They feast and gurgle and snarl and rip and cut
I wear that putrid pus; happy it keeps my aching body warm
Eyes closed—too tired to care, but I hear the swarm
They called their friends, because this hell isn't enough
I feel down, the burden so heavy I can't push myself up
So here I am, in a cold muddy pit devoured by Legion
I've seen their faces—too familiar now—they've become my favorite demon
Note / Fun Fact:
From: https://www.dictai.org/w/horrorous
"The word horrorous is a rare and often non-standard adjective, appearing primarily in niche or historical contexts rather than in mainstream dictionaries like the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) or Wordnik. While it follows the morphological pattern of words like horrendous or horrific, most modern sources categorize it as a rare variant or an obsolete form of "horrifying."
