I look down and I see myself, so peaceful finally
Curious as to what I am doing now
I recognize the room and walls—but shifted so vibrantly
What is this state of being anyhow
I see my eyes, staring back at me—concerning
Though that smile, it is so beautiful
In this place without time—no anxious yearning
A scene so serene, but lacking life looks, so unusual
I pass through, the new world so astounding
Hearing sorrowful raindrops from the eyes of those loved
It's beauty and allure so dumbfounding
The distant clouds looming from dimensions above
Reflections on the passing, now that it is done
I see how the hurt I knew, passed on through
Searching for new neighbors—finding no one
There were so many, and in the end so few
It's over and the next phase begins
It's so bright and lovely here, yet so cold and alone
Pleasures and pains fused from all past sins
Mesmerized and fulfilled, from a life so bemoaned
