Little love, so full of life and vigor
Every touch, so sweet to consider
You were my lifelong companion—so many stories
A proactive and caring playmate—such strong glory
You shined more than any other could, so majestic
Nobody dared touch you, nor should—so agrestic
In your life, you shined so bright—so loving
But now the sun sets, as does your life—not knowing
I'll hold you though, no worries for you are safe
In my arms, I'll move not--this is your final resting place
The smile I saw, knowing you were content
Angry at the curse of life--grieving consent
I wouldn't flinch to do, anything to bring you
to any special memory, of all we've been through
All our adventures, now such sweet memory
I'm so glad when I saw you, that you picked me
Never did you give in, when others gave up
Cursed by illness from young to grownup
You proved a fighter’s will, stronger than medical decree
You lashed back at death saying "not me"
Such a little body, but so strong and known
So many trembled as you had grown
I'll not reject you, in this weakened state
I'll hold on to you, spitting at fate
You're mine and I will have no other
There is none like you left, not another
I'll drink your blood and accept the sour flavor
Every morsel of blackened liquid I'll savor
As fluids emit, from your precious little body
Maybe others would shy away, but not me
You would do the same, and be by my side
I won't leave you like this, now that you've died
More than just past moments, but now etched memories
Your entire remembrance, now painted inside of me
You may be gone, but you still live on
Through story, poem and song
You're a legend, all who know you tremble
Your power, your strength—all you resemble
Your corpse, I'll carry through scorching summers, and bitter winters
I'll walk on jagged glass, uttering your name as the glass splinters
No one can take you from me, not after all we've been through
Your love for me never faltered—and I will always love you too
Sprayed in death's moist rotting and stench
I'll keep the stains, so nobody thinks you’re absent
So grateful, to be there in the final moment for your dying breath
Consumed entirely by precious you, I proudly wear your death
