Rot With Me

Lay in decay where our flesh can sway
Erotically, rottingly to fuse together
Tasting the lust, jaws breaking away
Souls consumed, staying forever

Sweet subtle aroma, the scent of decadence
Pushing my hand in, reaching your heart
This necrophiliac lust, a dance of defiance
Our love worthy of manuscripts, defining the finest art

Tears from Heaven, weep down on us
As the rain purifies our corpses and washes our coffins
Blasphemy for love this deep, a must
Our desire and leathery skins, so equally rotten

As the dirt beneath us, taints the image of a dove
Our rolling, leading to intertwined and ecstatic fate
This is far deeper, no words to describe this love
Reaching to where compassion melts into hate

Emotional depths, limitless to the void we now know
Caringly caressing, our peeling carcasses
Rebuked from eternity, Hades devouring our soul
Melding, melting into the other as sinful harnesses

I look into the black of your eyes, lost in Abaddon
Your gentle finger, sliding down my bones
The sanctuary of holiness has long since been abandoned
The pain of this union, forcing anguished groans

Flames emerge beneath, God has made his decree
No escape, nothing to ignore, hopeless to undo
Scorched leather, an erotic barbecue denied our plea
The only thing left for me, is for you to know: I love you

Note:
This was a fun exercise.
I wanted to write a love poem that was genuine, but write it in a very grotesque and macabre manner. This poem is what came out.
