I miss your soft skin, and your sweet little kiss
But more so, it's the entirety of you that I miss
Your warm embrace, with head tucked so low
Rubbing your back and legs, gently stroking your body so slow
Asking for permission, as I rest it upon your hip
Leaning in slowly, gazing deeply, to kiss your lip
Again, reclining back as you nest your head in my arm
Longing, while staring at you now finally at ease--such a charm
You really did steal my heart, gladly gave it to you
You gently caressed it and tossed it as you flew
I still don't understand, why you did this thing—so abruptly
All the hope, joy, sorrow and ache it would bring—so bluntly
I'm swallowed in a vortex of damnation against my choice
Exhausted by anguish, yearning only for the sound of your voice
Sinking in sorrow, not knowing what to do
Still all that is on my mind is: “I love you"
