I love you still
My heart aches
My fingers long to touch

Your skin that is so soft
To nuzzle in your neck and gently peck
Stroking your hair,
As I realize how lucky I am
To have a woman like you in my arms

Staring into each other’s eyes while you take the lead
Always so gentle and passionate
Your play and your jokes and your love
Your encouragement and acceptance

I miss every day that I can't see your face
I hate it
I hate that I can't be there
I hate that you won't come to me

I love you still
But we're not meant to be
