I'm tired. I breakdown at the thought of you
Sitting in the dark, haunting piano plays through
The storm taking place outside
Black cat, content and happy sitting beside
All of my ambition and eagerness…
fading into sorrow and bitterness
My sanctuary now my prison
All my future seemingly so bleak—blurry vision
I can't stand now, walking on unstable grounds
Weighted down by burdens of limitless pounds
I don't understand why I simply can't just be
All my goals and life, pushing back against me
I hate it here. I never asked for this curse
Nobody questioned if I wished to be birthed
No companion, no career
All ambition lost, hope gone—just ambiguity and fear
I keep reaching, but only feel the burn of misery's stove
Search endlessly and longing for the little grove…
Where the sun shines down on a little stone
Placed over my head, where I can just be alone
