Fear I know
Nowhere to go
Here I stay
A silent grave
So much hope...
Lost to a nothingness
In a rage of helplessness
To still be grateful, to be blessed
Soaking in memories of happy thought
All the while, decaying and absorbing rot
Missing loves—the loves lost
Fretting the pain of known future suffering
The pain we all have—of parents lost
Burying so much dead
The cemetery can't hold
Memories of all joys, in a world of darkness told
Stanzas and verses of words and truths
Dead and dying, feeding our future youths
A cycle of spinning, of never-ending turns
For a life of stability, and structure yearned
To walk on streets of gold, and reach Heaven’s gate
A promise of endless suffering, we're forced to wait
Is it too late now and this is hell?
It's been a lifetime here, to know so well
Why the separation of ourselves?
Never really caring…
So much to be given
So much sharing
But what is mine is mine and shall always be
If you try to take it, get the fuck back from me
Now we grow hopeful, a bright future—so full of glee
But the truth is our future is obscured by darkness—harsh reality
Maybe it is bright and cheery
Maybe it's forlorn and weary
Nobody truly knows
Through life we're forced to go
The weight of merciless fate and shattering reality—
nothing but loss and suffering is what we'll be
There is no escape of your fears
Running from our childhood monsters for years
We don't really grow, just wither into worn flesh
When the demons of financial fighting and friendships fighting end—It's all just death
Love is true, but abused as well
We are all alive, burning in hell
