The poems on the following pages are incredibly heavy and full of triggering topics.
These pieces do NOT shy away from themes of child abuse, rape, incest, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and everything in between.

This entire section is designed—lovingly so—for those that have endured and survived traumatic events in their lives.  Maybe they can’t express their pain, maybe they don’t fully know that someone else has experienced their level of suffering and they truly are not alone.

The following pages give the wounded a voice, a lens, a community of emotions.  You are seen, you are known, you are loved and you are understood.  For those however, whose wounds are still bleeding, this content may be triggering, and it is advisable not to continue.

For the “curious”: somethings are better left unknown.  If you are easily upset or offended, this section is not for you.
